Rose Ellen (Leedy) Marek passed away peacefully on January 20, 2024 at 3:32 pm after a long battle with illness, and the loss of her husband, Frank, in April of 2023 whom she loved dearly. Rose was one of twelve children, she was born to Joseph and Ellen (Cunningham) Leedy on July 12th, 1938.

A funeral service is planned for 11am, Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. Burial will follow at the Converse Cemetery. Visitation is planned for 4pm Friday, November 24, 2023.
