The MX is just there to make the most power it physically can. It'll be thirsty but will lift the front easily. As mentioned, the suspension and sprocket setup make a big difference. I read a little about the Lectron Carbs. They're big in the DRZ400 community, about as well mentioned as the FCR39. The self adjusting feature relies on the airflow on the metering rod, similar to that of an airplane wing. The leading edge is rounded, the trailing edge is flat.It's funny, many DRZ riders don't seem to mind shelling out $500 plus on an exhaust , $100 for a jetting kit and $350 for cams, but resist buying a new carburetor.
