Do you think sneaky archer is gonna be the main meta in Elder Scrolls 6 after how busted it was in Skyrim? No, because archer only uses the bow and arrows in DD2. The rogue/ranger as in DD1 doesn't exist now.robert43s 6 years ago #3. If you know how to play as a mystic knight, one of the most powerful builds is pure magick (mage then sorcerer til 200). I'm though, am rubbish as playing as a mystic knight (can't use the shield properly, I keep wanting to attack with the sword whilst blocking with the shield, which of course casts a spell instead). Some tips on the Mystic Knight vocations training Dragon's Dogma. Here is a link to my DDDA video playlist...https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZXZ5rGT_v... Go full sword and board in the face of your enemies and crack some skulls with an enchanted mace. Anyway, yes, Mystic Knights ranged options are irritating to access. If you want Sword and Ranged, go Assassin. If you want Shield and Ranged, go Mystic Knight. If you want Sword and Shield and Ranged, you're going to have to switch weapons around either way. Ass can defend/dps on demand, and usually possess high enough Phys to overcome most thresholds even with higher magic monsters, and of course has access to cheese arrows on logistical demand, and parry powers are almost universally effective, esp with elem enchants per enemy via pawns. Assassins were nerfed for a reason. Leveling pure mystic knight leaves you with balanced stats but heavier on defence than offence. Strider would be the opposite for balance. (A bit more offensive) Unlocking the stength and magick boosting augments from sorcerer, mage, warrior, and fighter is very helpful for your damage in general. MK is a Hybrid class, so leveling multiple vocations for the augments is recommended early. Fighter gets Vehemence (10% Str Bonus), -Sinew for more carry weight. Warrior gets Clout for a 20% Str Bonus, -Proficiency so your melee skills (that aren't considered spells) consume less stamina. Magic-focused MK is definitely more powerful, cause of combos like great Cannon + riposte perfect block or ruinous sigil. However, you can play a mostly melee MK, it's just a bit slower and more methodical. You'll want the abyssal anguish skill, it boosts your physical weapon damage, and 2 elemental ripostes for your shield skills (don't bother ... Rank Sorcerer to 9 for the 20% Magick Attack Augment. Rank Warrior to 9 for the 20% Physical attack Augment. Should be a really good boost and still bide you time to play out most of the game as Mystic Knight. I actually just want to go all the way to 200 as MK as soon as I understand the augments and class better.

Mage, Sorcerer, and Mystic Knight all have enchantment spells of varying power and effect; spells are available in variants matching all five Archmagicks. Boons, Trances and higher level spells [] The range of Mystic Knights enchantment spells are a few meters. Here Ser Rickart's weapon is enchanted, but his colleague at the gate is just out of ... Another thing to note is that, unlike Dragon's Dogma 2, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen allows the use of various weapon types on many vocations, the Mystic Knight included. Most players avoid using staves when playing the Mystic Knight, and I don't see why. We will use both staves and swords.Rank Sorcerer to 9 for the 20% Magick Attack Augment. Rank Warrior to 9 for the 20% Physical attack Augment. Should be a really good boost and still bide you time to play out most of the game as Mystic Knight.
