Them fucking around and making a driver wait for an order could potentially turn off the customer from going back to their restaurant next time they want food and the restaurant will lose out on a customer. Yesterday we ordered, and it showed dasher waiting for order. but it just sat in that status with the time being bumped up again and again. And then the dasher icon showed leaving, but the status still showed waiting. My wife chatted in, and they canceled and they gave us a refund plus compensation. We get paid to drive, pick up the order and deliver, we do not get paid to wait., we will wait a reasonable amount of time because when we unassign it's a ding against our account. Yesterday at 10:30 I get a McD order drove 4 miles there, lobby closed, I unassigned, i don't do drive thrus.The order will not be considered late if the Dasher arrives at the merchant by 5:30PM and the customer by 5:50PM.
