Cz 457 vs bergara b14r

#1 · Sep 7, 2022. I'm trying to decide whether to go with a Vudoo or not. I currently own a CZ 457 Varmint Precision Chassis and a Bergara B14r Carbon. These guns are stock with zero modifications. With that said, should I invest in new barrels / triggers / chassis / etc for the guns just to try and squeeze a little more out of them?

CZ makes a great rifle, but for a little bit more you get much more in accuracy returns. $700 is right on the edge of knocking out a a few great rifles. My Bergara B14R is just a step down from a Vudoo, at half the cost. If you can get your hands on a B14R, spend a little more and be much happier. 3.Of the 3 the cz 457 has the better magazines. I would buy a Tikka t1x before a cz, but I bought the Bergara B14r before either of those. Really depends on what your wanting to do, but the tikka is extremely accurate. I started with a CZ 455 then got a T1X. later I got a Bergara B14R. A lot of chassis makes stopped making chassis for the 455 when the 457 came out. Instead of getting a 457 I got and second B14R, love them, drop a Trigger Tech Diamond and you are set, it comes with a good chassis, but you don't like them.I have not shot the RPR enough yet. It's close to B14 accuracy. The CZ has better accuracy. OTOH some B14s have exceptional accuracy. I would take one of those over the other two.
